Your plan to lose weight this fall starts here!
Labor Day typically comes with a big sigh of relief. Summer was fun for sure with camping trips, sports, cookouts, vacations, and parties. But the chances are, you exhausted your body it has taken it’s toll!
This back to school time signifies getting life back in order. A time to set a schedule and get back on track. It’s time to begin planning your meals out and having a consistent exercise routine that you can follow. Here’s a few ideas.
Kickstart your plan
- Some people need to reset their bodies from all that summer “fun.” The 21 day Ultimate Reset, we have found is a great way to do it. I won’t explain it all here, but let’s just say, that good food and clean eating can make a huge positive impact in just a short amount of time, not to mention losing weight and feeling incredible! 🙂
Exercise:
- Decide what time in the day works best for you. There is no time during the day that is better from a fat burning standpoint, but I have found that early mornings are the best time when unexpected life events prevents you from getting your workouts in. I suggest setting the alarm just a mere 30 minutes earlier to get up and get going!
- Figure out what physical activities you enjoy doing. When it comes to workouts, if you don’t like it, chances are, you won’t stick with it. There are many programs to fit a wide variety of fitness personalities! Have you seen all we have now? There’s a chart on that page to select what is best for you and your interest. You already know my favorites!
Food:
- Plan out all your meals for the week (perhaps on Sunday) and include your family in the process.
- Make a shopping list before heading to the store. If you are using our Meal Planner tool, you can check off what items you already have in the house and then print the rest of the shopping list before heading to the store!
- Cook in mass quantities and divvy up on Sunday to make foods “grab and go” during the week. Cook chicken breast, brown rice, chopped vegetables, fruit, etc. and use portion-sized containers to store.
Share:
- Be sure to share with everyone your tips for getting back into your “routine!” That will no doubt inspire many to take charge of their health and fitness! It feels good to share!
- If you find that people are asking you what you are doing, or how you lost weight and are getting in shape, that is a good indicator you are influencing many people.
