Halfway through my workouts my mind wanders and BLAM I’m not into it anymore. How can I stay motivated? This question recently came up and man, I have been there! Ive got some ideas that have worked for me to get your workouts back to movin! Also week 2 with ChaLEAN is done!

If your back feels great in the second week of CE, I’d say keep going with the Burn Phase as written so you can build on that and not get hurt by starting Push too soon.. My back really felt it in the first week, but now in the 2nd week my back feels great too!! I think there is something to this… I was tempted to move into Push early, as well, but decided Burn is four weeks long for a reason…

Thanks. i hear what you’re saying. Great suggestion. This is a degenerative disk think with my back, so it will always be an issue. I modify everything, and I’m OK with that.

i am in the 3rd phase of p90x lean. i am gonig to do lean, classic, double and plus. but i am on last phase of lean and i still got a gut and not much definition my muscles come and go. 🙁 got any tips? anything would help.

I’m modifying all the time. It’s kind of deflating, but much better than walking around in agony!! While I really like CE, I can’t wait to get back to the X. Many of the trainers say that after doing programs like P90X you should do something totally different for about a month or so, even if it’s dance based or yoga based or lower impact because your body needs to work other muscles differently and let others recover before torching them up again. CE has been a good program for me.
