    i would say as much as there is needed. if it was my family, my friends, a stranger, or whatever, i do not mind. small talk, kind gestures, if i have to i will.

    Easy, it’s a case by case basis but usually it goes by, which is the most good you can bring out of your time and energy. Very subjective on what’s good in your opinion. That’s what makes the world interesting.

    This is actually a great question.

    As a man, we’ve always been taught to help others, we’ve been taught to respect and honor women. I have, for my adult life (48 yrs old), always treated others (a number of strangers too) better than myself.

    In fact, Perry, given we are within 20 years of each other, I would suggest that you grew up with the same mindset as me.

    I just want to remind you that as men, we are required to put family first, put employment first.

    Love that! So awesome man! I’m not saying ignore others, LOL. I just know many who rarely make themselves a priority and struggle.
