Are you a fan of pizza? Well, get ready to see how simple it is to make a healthy and tasty pizza crust using only 4 ingredients.
While we use products from Trader Joes, you can shop from your favorite store.
Trader Joes Riced Cauliflower
Traders Gluten-Free All-Purpose Flour
Trader Joes Mozzarella Cheese
Trader Joes Pizza Sauce
Trader Joes Coconut Oil Spray
The recipe is simple
4 c Riced Cauliflower
2/3 c Gluten-Free Flour
1/4 c Mozzarella Cheese
4 Eggs
VEGAN ALTERNATIVE
4c Riced Cauliflower
1/3 c Gluten-Free Flour
1/4 c Dairy-Free Mozzarella Style Shreds (cashew based)
Flax Meal Egg Substitute – Combine 4 Tbsp Flaxseed Meall 10 Tbsp Water (let sit 5 min)
- 4 c Riced Cauliflower
- ⅔ c Gluten-Free Flour
- ¼ c Mozzarella Cheese
- 4 Eggs
- Preheat oven to 480 Degrees
- In a mixing bowl, mix riced cauliflower, flour, and cheese in a mixing bowl
- Beat eggs and add to the dry mixture
- Blend together
- Divide mixture in half
- Line a pizza baking stone or baking sheet with parchment paper
- Lightly spray with cooking spray (we used coconut oil spray from Trader Joes)
- Flatten and form half the mixture into a pizza crust. TIP - the thinner the crust, the crispier it will be. We find that thicker crusts tend to be a bit more soggy.
- Bake the crust for 20-25 minutes
- Flip crust.
- Bake for another 10-15 minutes
- (you may need to adjust the baking time based on how crispy you would like your crust)
- Add sauce and toppings of your choice
- Bake for another 5 minutes
- Enjoy!
