That became quite evident on my drive home last weekend.
My fiance has been telling me to pay close attention to my instincts. She’s has clued me into something she calls “inspired action.”
After a long day of waiting, delays and testing my patience, Hillary and I had a discussion that “something must be going on” and there must be a “reason why” life was giving us the run around. It didn’t take long for that reason to reveal itself.
Just miles before we got home from that frustrating afternoon, a major, out-of-the-blue, car accident happened just 2 cars in front of us at speeds of 60 mph. We saw the cars spinning and some to a stop. We called 911 and tended to the people involved. Fortunately, nobody perished, and we were able to keep people alert and convinced to stay in their cars until help arrived.
As we drove away we realized why life delayed us all day long.
On our journey back home I took stock and gratitude in what life has given us. If it weren’t for life-changing actions to live better, feel better, be more active and fit and share that with others, I’m not so certain I would be as in tuned to what is truly important as what I continue to grow toward.
Beachbody has put me on a path to self improvement in more ways than just getting ripped in 90 days. I think it helps one evolve to become a better person… a better human. That’s a great benefit that comes more easily when you feel healthy!
Live well!
