This Les Mills Pump review is something to help you to make an educated decision on how to transform your body! But only read on if you want to learn how this program will get lean and chiseled.
You may have tried plenty of other workouts before, but Les Mills Pump may be one of the most revolutionary out there. It’s a blast and will get you great results whether you are a beginner or advanced fitness fanatic.
Normally, strength training and a heavy concentration on lifting weights is what’s going to get people that strength, power and body transformation. The great thing about the Les Mills Pump workout is that it focuses strength training in a much different way than what you may see in traditional fitness programs.
High Repetition Strength Training That Really Works For Everyone
Everyone has a different reason for trying this type of workout. So for me in this Les Mills Pump Review it was to see if I get my muscle lean and toned fast like they promoted. The ideal workout such as this takes into account that there is a need to create lean muscle and of course that also means transforming fat in the process. This is the workout for you if you have any desire to change your body. It’s a must have in your collection!
Les Mills Pump focuses it’s exercises on something called THE REP EFFECT. This is why there are so many people getting amazing results (including myself!) As I said before, traditional strength workouts use heavy weights. Of course this is to bulk you up. With the THE REP EFFECT you will be using lighter weights and vary the rate with high repetition. This gets you leaner faster.
So, this Les Mills Pump review found the workouts to be intense and they will get your heart rate up there. I think some of the workouts can have you burning close to 1,000 calories! Of course that means burning fat, getting lean muscle and sculpting the body you always wanted.
Les Mills Pump Review: The Trainers
The great thing about the workouts mentioned in this Les Mills Pump review is that it’s not only effective but the trainers walk you through everything. Not only are there between four and eight trainers on the stage at any one time, one of the trainers shows you how to modify each move, so you can adjust according to your needs and goals.
The trainers are a collection of amazing, motivating people from all over the world. Some trainers are from New Zealand, Sweden, UK, Singapore, Spain and the United States.
There direction, cadence and sense of humor make the workouts literally fly by.
Les Mills Pump Review: The Workout Tracks
Each workout is broken down into “tracks.” In each track you focus on a specific muscle group with exercises like glutes/legs, chest, back, biceps, triceps and abs/core. Each track also has one song and the tempo of the reps are done to the music. The music is super motivating and that makes the workout fly by! The exercise are done in varying cadences and reps going off a 4 count rhythm. So for instance if one was done chest presses, the track may include 4 count down and then 4 count up. Then switch to a 3 count down and 1 count up. Then a 2 count don and 2 count up. There are several repetitions that are done and if you end up putting on too much weight, you will be greatly humbled. For many body builders and cross trainers out there, it’s hard to just put on 2 two 10-lb plates onto a light 8-lb bar and then be struggling to keep up all the way through. This certainly is a workout where you set your ego aside, have fun and get results!
The Equipment
There’s a lot packed into the package when you buy this program. This Les Mills Pump review found seven DVDs for fast blasting. A Padded Barbell that screws together so you can travel with it. The barbell weighs about 8 pounds. There are also safety clips for the plate. It comes with two (2) 5 lb. Weight Plates and two (2) 10 lb. Weight Plates. The program also includes a Fitness Guide and Nutrition Guide. There are a few tools included to track your results as well. Those are a Tape Measure and Measurement Tracker.
The Results
To tell you the truth I was not initially going to get this program. I never planned on doing a Les Mills Pump review. I had done programs like P90X, Insanity, and Insanity The Asylum, so I did not see myself ever doing a program that used such light weights. But when a trainer friend of mine was so excited because she taught the gym version of this program called Bodypump, she was so excited that now people could do this program at home. So, when it came out, I bought it, tried a few workouts and set it on the shelf. I chose to do P90X2 instead. It wasn’t until several months later that I decided to do the workouts as designed. I did not follow the meal plan, so I cannot tell you my experience with that. I can tell you that I ate healthy and of course used Shakeology as my main meal replacement for super dense nutrition to fuel these workouts!
I will say that my results were awesome. I had just finished a 21 Day cleanse, called Ultimate Reset, and my body was primed to go for it!
As I said before, many of the exercises humbled me greatly and I needed to hit the pause button to adjust weights. As the weeks went by I learn my limitations and was in the flow. The 90 days flew by. And, as you can see from my photos, I really sculpted my body well!
Les Mills Pump Review Conclusion
After writing this Les Mills Pump review for you all I can say is “Just get it and do it!” How’s that? Seriously, it is a blast of a program, it really works well and it will challenge you in many ways. If it’s too easy for you, you may want to put on more weights. You can buy more plate if you need to. Chances are, you won’t need to add much weight.
So, if you are looking to have fun, lose weight, be challenged, and get sculpted, then Les Mills Pump is highly recommended by this guy!!
