Please don’t judge me. I used to be a smoker. I smoked about 2 packs a day. Sure I quit here and there, but started up again. Nicotine Addiction. As you would expect, in time, my lungs hurt and my breathing was very poor. I went thru one of the LARGEST Primatene Mist containers A WEEK so I could breathe (and smoke).
Well, eventually I quit via the patch many years ago. It was hard. I ate a lot. Got fat. Traded one addiction for another. But it was necessary… breathing became necessary.
Why do I share this story with you?
Lots of people battle all kinds of addictions:
