Ultimate Reset Meal Recipe Time!
We loved this Ultimate Reset Nori Roll Recipe and modified it a little to make it for us! These are amazing and good as a snack, appetizer and dinner! Even people who haven’t eaten Japanese before liked these.
Vegetarian Nori Rolls
- ½ to 1 tsp. olive oil
- 1 strip smoky tempeh strips (we love the tempeh bacon strips – smoked maple flavor)
- 1 sheet nori seaweed (we like the Eden brand)
- ⅓ cup cooked brown rice
- ¼ avocado, thinly sliced in strips
- ¼ carrot, cut into thin matchsticks strips
- ¼ cucumber, cut into thin matchstick strips
- Braggs Aminos (as a dipping sauce – tastes like soy sauce)
Directions:
Heat oil and fry tempeh strips until crisp. Put nori sheet on cutting board. Place rice on nori and spread to cover half the sheet lengthwise. Place tempeh, avocado, carrot, and cucumber on rice, then sprinkle with Braggs Aminos. Roll up from bottom, being careful not to tear nori. Wet far end of nori to seal.
*We tried the bamboo roller thing that people often use, but never got it to work right. So we just roll them without. LOL
